Getting Here

You'll find Endless Summer Lodge at 245 Foreshore Rd, Ahipara directly opposite the beach.

Shipwreck Bay, Ahipara is just 14km from Kaitaia on the Twin Coast Discovery Route and is a great base for exploring the Far North and Cape Reinga. Ahipara is the gateway to 90 Mile Beach. From here you can drive along the beach to Cape Reinga or just explore sites along the way.

The two most common routes from Auckland are marked in red on the map below. The East coast provides far more attractions, while following the West coast is more scenic. The fastest route is to follow the eastern route then head inland at Kawakawa and go up the middle of the island through the Mangamuka native forest.
